I made the purchase, but I haven’t received a confirmation e-mail. What should I do?

The confirmation e-mail sometimes winds up in the spam folder! If you fail to locate it there, it is possible that a wrong e-mail address was entered upon registering or placing the order. You may contact us via the contact form.

What do the acronyms SEPA, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT stand for?

SEPA is the acronym for Single Euro Payments Area; this is the new uniform regulation for national and European payments. The aim of SEPA is to ensure that payments in Europe are made as simply and effectively as those within individual countries.

IBAN (International Bank Account Number): a unique identifier enabling banks to automatically process payments from person to person.

BIC/SWIFT (Business Identifier Code): an international code that banks use for financial transactions. Every bank has its own BIC. This way, European and international payment orders automatically arrive at the right bank and branch. BIC is also referred to as a SWIFT address or a SWIFT code. BIC can be 8 or 11 characters long depending on whether it supplies branch information.

How can I pay for the order?

The e-shop provides the following payment options:

  • Debit or credit cards: Payment is made through the STRIPE payment system. Card information is not stored on the company server, so your safety is 100 percent guaranteed. STRIPE ensures maximum transaction safety. Credit card authorisations are made in real time with instant verification of data with banks. Payment is possible with the following cards: ApplePay, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, BA Maestro (if the payer’s Maestro card allows).
  • When using debit or credit cards, the payer must be the person or organisation that is the owner of the debit or credit card. After confirming the receipt of the order, the content of the order or the final amount can not be changed, except with authorisation by AKCS d.o.o. The Stripe system facilitates secure on-line payment in real time (on-line authorisations of debit and credit cards). Stripe provides anonymous, fast, and secure on-line transactions and payment collection.

Where do I find the card security code (CVV)?

The three-digit security code or CVV code can be found on the back of your credit card.

Why was my card payment declined?

The reasons why the credit card payment was not finalised successfully can be varied. Potential reasons include: data entry error, insufficient credit card balance, invalid or blocked card, missing identification, or technical error on our part. For security reasons, the name and address of the payer must be the same as the name and address of the card owner.

When will my card be charged?

Authorisation and subsequent reservation of funds on your card in the amount of the order value are made immediately upon placing the order.

When and how do I receive the original invoice for the purchased products?

The invoice will be sent to your e-mail address once your order is shipped.

How do I know that it is safe to shop and make payments on your website?

The Oduduwa Europe on-line store utilises appropriate technological and organisational means to protect the transfer and storage of personal data and payments. To this end, the provider uses the SSL certificate issued by an authorised organisation. Credit card authorisations are made in real time with instant verification of data with banks. Card data is not stored on the server of the provider.
